However, i have run other old sierra games from disks. i don’t think i’ll be able to help, since my game is on a CD and not a 3.5 disk. However, I then did the same thing on my Sony, and did not get that error message, but the result was the same, namely, not being able to play the game. It copied everyhting over, except one file, so I assumed the disk had a corrupted file as you said. When I originally tried to install it to the hard drive on her machine, I did see one case where it said ‘0 file copied’. My girl friend and I both have Sony Vaio laptops running XP. I then tried the install from that folder, got the message for the origianl disk, and had the same problem. I then copied the entire disk into a folder on the hard drive and tried to run it from there. it again asked for the original disk, but again did nothing when I hit Enter. I then did the isntallh and put it on the hard drive. ![]() ![]() ![]() When it asked for the original disk, which was already in the A drive, I pressed Enter, but nothing happened. I tried runnign the game directly from the 3 1/2″ disk. (re: re: Leisure-Suit Larry on XP platform)
